my kitten is asleep on my legs.

yesterday lia packed me a lunch with a cute note and an i love you sticker on my bagel.
it kept me smiling the whole drive home.

my mom's birthday dinner was last night. all her friends and family came, and she finally took a night off to relax. my dad drove up from new york and surprised her. i woke up to home movies from ten years ago, and we felt like a family for a minute.

i get to see julie and lauren and everyone today, and i really can't explain how excited i am.

first i have to help with rearranging furniture.

this weather is something awful.

the closest i had to a grandfather passed away at 12:41 am.
my father's kidney stones were determined to be something else and so they gave him medicine that will give him blood clots. they didn't have the time or room for examination when he needed it.
i have lost most of the little faith i once had in doctors.




it's not even seven but i'm ready to sleep away the rest of tonight.

today there were dancing lion people at dinner and one of them winked at me. afterward, lia and i saw because i said so.. it was full of so necessary "nooo, like" moments.

while we were at the movies, i won a pig in those grab machines i'm so good at. lia named her piggy and has been showing her love, unconditionally, ever since.

i played aladdin pinball. it makes my heart go pitterpatter, especially when i hit the genie.



those came in the mail and i have already started wearing them inappropriately up and down the steep hill i live on.
